Days of Our Lives fans are watching as Gabi deals with her emotions in a rough manner. She knew that her boyfriend, Chad, was still in love with his ex-wife when they were together, but she didn’t want to be with him so Gabi got him. She thought she’d gotten him over Abigail, but then she married Gabi’s brother, her brother used her and tried to kill Chad, and things got very ugly. That’s when Abby was hit by a car trying to save Chad’s life and Gabi’s boyfriend realized he doesn’t love her after all. He only loves the woman he was married to and shares a son with.
It’s been very ugly, and that’s not something Gabi is handling well. She was already heartbroken when she lost Chad to Abby again, but finding out they are engaged and about to get married again is all she needed to hear to send her over the edge. She is devastated. Perhaps some small part of her is thinking she had another chance with him.
Now that she’s found out that they are getting married, it’s over for her. There is nothing she can do to change their minds. There is nothing they can do to fix her heart. Chad feels bad, but he’s not in love with her. He will talk to her about things, but there’s nothing he can do for her. There’s just no way he can change the way he feels. And Gabi has to live with that.
