The collective Hellboy fanbase was a mixed bag yesterday on the internet. After it was announced that the company Millennium would be rebooting Hellboy many were excited, however a little bittersweet since two major names in Guillermo del Torro and Ron Perlman wouldn’t be attached to the project. Die hard Hellboy fans were somewhat disappointed but at the same time there was certainly a rejoice for the fact that Hellboy will be back in theaters.
The one name attached to the movie right now is David Harbour who is said to be taking on the role of Hellboy. So naturally one of the best artists on the web who likes to picture what celebrities will look like as movie characters was at it again. The photo you see above is Bosslogic’s graphic of what David Harbour might look like as Hellboy.
This take on Hellboy captures the essence of the original character, while adding in a splash of awesome sauce that may top Perlman’s version. If this is what we can expect from the new Hellboy, let’s hope it heads into production soon.
