Dancing Pennywise Perfectly Fit With Any Song, And It’s Really Funny

It goes to show that if you time it right, you can dub in just about anything to a movie scene and make it work. I wonder if Bill Skarsgard had any idea that his dancing scene as Pennywise would create this kind of attention and that he’d done everything so perfectly that it would work on so many different levels? Chances are probably not but it’s hilarious to watch and an eyeful that will make you chuckle repeatedly.

Here’s the original scene in all its terrifying glory.

And here’s the magic that follows when you put a different track to it and let it run.

See how it works so easily? His legs get to going and the magic just happens as the beat continues and the terror follows after the laughter.

This sounds like something from the 80’s or 90’s, almost like a kid’s cartoon, but the effect is so hilarious that you can’t help but sit back laughing. You almost expect him to be surrounded by ribbons of color or some other similar effect as was used back then to make the setting a little more colorful.

Set to rap Pennywise looks almost like he’s about to puff his chest out and start twerking at some point. But going all the way to the end where he looks about ready to throttle Beverly just adds into the music without fault.

Come on Beverly, shake shake, shake shake shake it! Oh you’re already shaking, then the song must be working just fine. Of course she’s shaking from fear and not a desire to move with the beat, so I guess that wouldn’t really count.

How this works I do not know but somehow it just does. Maybe it’s the fact the fact that the camera breaks away so often to focus on Pennywise and then Beverly, but somehow the song still works in this capacity.

A little bit of Beverly in my life, a little bit of Georgie in my teeth, a little bit of Betty in my gut. No? Too morbid? Well if you’re thinking about Pennywise you would know that he’s not above creeping people out just for the fun of it.

Admit it, you were bouncing along with this one as soon as the music came on. Pennywise knows how to bust a move and this song is just a catalyst for him to start really working those legs.

I get the feeling that anyone that Pennywise touches will feel their heart beating fast well before he gets his dirty gloves on them.

Where’s Foley when you really need him. Axle would pop a couple of rounds into Pennywise while trying to diss his outfit and make him question his masculinity, or ITinity, or whatever you want to call it.

So how many of these were you bumping along with? Personally I was grooving to all of them except maybe a couple just because the beat was good enough and it was funny to see Pennywise dancing to so many different beats.
