It appears that rapper Drake has some new ink. This time the talented musician is paying homage to one of his favorite actors. On Saturday is was revealed that Drake had Denzel Washington’s face tattooed on his body by artist Inal Bersekov. The image is from the 1990 film Mo’ Better Blues. In the film Washington portrayed jazz musician Bleek Gilliam. It was one of two tattoos that Berskov added to Drake’s inked body. Here is the image that was posted on Bersekov’s Instagram page.
The other image that Drake had tattooed that day was a tribute to Anthony “Fif” Soares. He was an OVO sound affiliate that passed away last week in Toronto. Many of Drake’s tattoos depict the faces of loved ones. The actor-rapper’s back adorns the faces of his late uncle, grandmother, mother, and a mug shot of his father. Aaliyah, Sade, and Lil’ Wayne can also be found tattooed on Drake’s body. Lil’ Wayne was the musician that helped Drake get started in the music industry when he signed the actor to his record label in 2009.
So, who will be the next face to appear on Drake’s body? The singer himself has admitted he has left a spot open on his rib cage for singer Celine Dion. Drake met her at an awards ceremony this year and mentioned that he is a longtime fan of her.
