I Talk About Life By Drawing Buddha, Robots, & Outer Space

My illustrations are made in traditional media, with surreal scenes representing how we tend to lose ourselves in pursuit of tomorrow.

Heavily inspired by Buddhism and concern for humanity’s existential clumsiness, I try to capture a little light that discretely says: “Everything is beautiful, you just forgot for a second because you weren’t paying attention”. Illustrations were drawn with pens, prismacolors, copic markers.

We tend to forget what life’s about, or why we do what we do. This illustration is a reflection of how we prepare for the roles we think define us (from 9 to 5) in our hyper-industrialized world.
