The Bold and the Beautiful fans know that Liam has a soft spot for Sally. He’s always thought she was a nice girl that had a bad time and made a few mistakes. He also thought she seems really sorry for what she did when she talks to him about it, and he’s decided to forgive her for all that she’s done wrong. His wife, on the other hand, has not decided to do the same. She actually hates Sally and refuses to listen to her. His own brother-in-law hurt her. His father burned down her building and she ended up hurt in the fire, and his wife and everyone else in his life has lied to Sally more than once.
They are the reason she’s been so hurt and in so much pain lately, and things have not been going well for her. That’s why Liam seems to feel a bit of responsibility toward her and her business. He’s been gifting her things that aren’t entirely appropriate for a married man. He’s been going out of his own way to make her happy and to do things for her, and that’s just that.
He’s also been making his own wife mad with all he’s been doing for her, and that’s not something she appreciates at all. She’s not happy, and that means no one is happy. Right now the situation is looking more than a little dire, but he can’t seem to stop doing things for Sally even though it’s making everyone else so unhappy.
