If there’s one trend that I really love about comic book movies, it’s the increasing trend of actors who play superheroes doing good deeds in the real world.  We’ve already seen the photos of when Chris Pratt and Chris Evans visited children in the hospital.  We’ve seen photos of Chris Hemsworth doing the same.  While he’s not in any comic book movies, you see selfless acts from Dwayne Johnson all the time.  Now you can add The Black Panther to the list.

On Tuesday, Chad Boseman paid a visit to an Atlanta elementary school where he met with a very special little guy named Ian Hopgood, who was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor this past November. Ian is a big time Black Panther fan.  According to CBM

Just like his on-screen persona, Boseman roared into action, surprising little Ian, and making one of his dreams come true. Boseman came bearing gifts and a huge smile on his face! Actor Boseman said “Ian ran and gave me a hug, that is the best reception I’ve gotten as the Black Panther yet! Thank you!” Boseman took pictures with Ian and his mother Kara Anderson, signed many autographs and left little Ian with some really cool figures!

I love stories like this.  Remember, celebrities do NOT have to do this kind of stuff so it’s really great to see when they do.  Boseman is tops in my book.  Check out the video and some more photos below:
