Some Argue that Technically Logan Paul Hasn’t Done Anything to Warrant Youtube Punishment

Anyone that hasn’t been living under a rock for the last several weeks knows who Logan Paul is. The YouTube personality that has made a habit out of making exceedingly questionable videos and monetizing them has made some headlines for himself recently, and none of them have been on a positive note. In fact, many think that his entire YouTube account should have been suspended and ultimately removed from the platform. Instead, YouTube decided to take away his ability to monetize videos while leaving his account more or less intact.

Some would argue that this is not enough punishment, especially given all of the things that he has done. Just to name a few, he has supposedly participated in the exploitation of what appeared to be a suicide, along with applying a taser to a rat and uttering a string of racial slurs that has embroiled him in his most recent controversy. Despite all of these things, he hasn’t actually violated any of the policies when it comes to content on YouTube. The closest he came was that string of racial slurs, but since he didn’t say them on a YouTube video, there really isn’t anything the company can do about that. Instead, they were forced to take the action they thought they could legally take and suspend his ability to make money through YouTube, which might actually be the best punishment they could have ever handed out.

Logan has made his money off of YouTube for quite some time. This is an individual that doesn’t hold a regular job and has a tendency to monetize videos on YouTube that don’t do anything whatsoever to promote any type of positivity within the world. While he may not be violating YouTube’s policies related to content, he certainly doesn’t seem to have anything valuable to offer in the videos he makes, either. YouTube’s decision to stop allowing him to make money off of the videos he produces is likely to hit him where it hurts the most, which is probably going to have a bigger impact on him than anything else would have.

To date, no one can prove that Logan has done anything that would get his account suspended, nor can they prove that he has done anything illegal. Regardless, people have long suspected that he has spent a lot of time doing questionable things as far as his attitude toward other people goes. While it remains to be seen whether or not YouTube will ever allow him to monetize videos again, he has been somewhat quieter for the time being. It really isn’t beneficial to him to put a lot of videos up on YouTube if he isn’t going to make money , since this is what he had been doing from the beginning.

Many people hope that this latest string of incidents will teach him to grow up and start treating others with respect. Only time will tell whether or not that will actually happen. For now, Logan can be a presence on YouTube as much as he wants, but he won’t be making a dime off of any of it.
