On February 10, Amanda Bynes made a return to Twitter. Her first tweet was rather simple and straightforward in nature, being nothing more than a statement that she had dinner with some friends at a restaurant in Los Angeles. With that said, what is most interesting is that Bynes looked well in the photo that came with the tweet, which is a welcome change from the erratic behavior that she became infamous for in much of the 2010s.
The exact cause remains unknown, but it is clear that something went wrong for Bynes at some point. Some people might remember her erratic posts on social media platforms, which included a number of rather inappropriate statements on a number of occasions. However, other people might remember how Bynes’s erratic behavior got her into trouble with the law on a number of occasions. For example, there was the time when she was caught while driving under the influence. Furthermore, there was the time when she started a fire on a stranger’s property as well as the time when she was caught tossing a bong out of her window. With that said, the bizarrest moment might have been when Byne accused her father of having abused her when she was a child, which was followed by her retracting said statement while claiming that it was the microchip in her brain that had made her say those things. As a result, when Bynes announced that she had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, it didn’t come as much of a surprise.
With that said, Bynes seems to have been getting better since she revealed her diagnosis. For example, she cut down on her posting on social media platforms, which is why her low-key return to social media was so noteworthy. Furthermore, she started attending the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, which was intended to further her goals of starting a clothing line at some point in the future. So far, Bynes seems to have had a fair amount of success in pursuing her stated goals, as shown by the fact that her name hasn’t appeared at all in the news outside of the occasional statement to tell her fans that she is doing well.
It remains to be seen what will happen from this point forward. Certainly, Bynes seems to be doing much better, which is good. However, some people might be wondering whether she will ever make a return to the screen, seeing as how she was considered to have been a star on the rise back before her problems started up. For those who are curious, it should be noted that Bynes has stated an interest in acting once again at some point in the future. With that said, it is interesting to note that her intentions in this regard seem to have been sure and steady as well. For example, she has expressed an interest in appearing in a more minor role in a TV show before moving on to anything more serious. Something that sounds like a sensible approach to getting back into acting.
