Adam Savage’s “Tested” Checks Original Green Ranger Helmet From Power Rangers

The last few episodes of “Tested” were focused on the movie Ghost in the Shell but Adam Savage is back and he’s finally moved on to another movie.  I wonder if it’s because Ghost in the Shell is faring so poorly in the theaters.  That’s highly doubtful.   I think it was just time to move on. In this new episode, the team at Tested managed to get their hands on the original Green Ranger helmet from Power Rangers. Turns out that in real life it looks just as awesome as it did in the 1990s.

However, as fans already know, “original” in this case still raises some questions with the Tested staff as there’s no real idea as to whether this helmet (provided by Saban) was from the American set of the series or from the Japanese original Super Sentai.  Either way this thing looks sick but I’m guessing it would have a pretty hefty pricetag.  Hopefully the video to follow this one will be the crew actually making props or at least visiting people who make props that can function similarly to the stuff we got to see in the movie.

In the meantime, enjoy this piece of Power Rangers history.
