Gold Rush is the type of show that makes viewers believe that the people who do this job are professionals. They’re not. With so many different people, different locations and different story lines featured on the hit show, it often comes as a surprise to many that most of the men on this show came to mine gold without any previous experience. They began working in the industry for various reasons, primarily to strike it rich. The first season was filled with men from Oregon with no choice but to go mine gold in Alaska so that they could make ends meet. They learned as they went. By now, though, we see men and women who know what they are doing, who have been doing it for a long time. They are knowing.
Some of them, such as the 20-something Parker, are professionals who have grown up around the business. On tonight’s all-new episode, we take a look back at all the different seasons, the highlights and the goings-on in the lives of gold miners. It’s called Gold Rush: Legends, and it’s bound to take viewers on a trip down memory lane. You’ll see where your favorite legends are now, how they are doing and what made them get started in the industry. The purpose of the show is to prelude the all-new finale tomorrow night, when the men this season meet for the first time. Tune in to catch up with all you favorite gold miners from the past 6 seasons and see what they’re up to, highlights and never-before-seen footage.
