Later, Simon Cowell gave him a standing ovation sending him to the quarterfinals where he performed “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran. He got enough votes to send him to the semifinals. In the end, he did not get enough votes to get him to the finals, but Mike later returned for “American’s Got Talent: The Champions 2.” Unfortunately, he did not go as far as the semifinals because he did not have enough votes at the preliminaries.
