Sterling Knight seems to have had a pretty vanilla career so far unless you count the fact that he’s been rocketing up the ranks pretty fast on his own steam and has done very well. It goes without saying that he hasn’t been in any real trouble that anyone has heard about and he’s been minding his manners along the way. That might seem kind of blah and bland for a lot of gossip rags and those that like to dish on celebrities but for some that’s still pretty young like he is it’s a very good thing since it means he’s reliable, dependable, and definitely the kind of guy that wants to get the job done and not screw around too much. So yes, he might be able to get into trouble and there might even be things he’s done or said that aren’t quite kosher. But if they don’t affect his job or anyone near him in a negative way then vanilla isn’t really so bad.

10. He’s musically-inclined.
He can play the guitar and he knows how to sing, so as far as being good for his career he’s got something else he can work with if the acting ever dries up. So far though it seems like things are going pretty good.

Whether he’s still in it or not is hard to know since the bios on the internet don’t always get updated as quickly as one might like. But to think that he’s been putting his musical talent to work is kind of reassuring since it could mean that he might have a different direction in mind.

He played the part of Alex and became friends with the guy that he had no idea was his father, who’d been turned back into his 17-year old self. Though how you get Zac Effron from Matt Perry is kind of hard to imagine since the two don’t look anything alike. Still, it was kind of a funny movie that showed the rigors of high school and what it would be like to go back.
7. He started his career acting in local productions.
There’s nothing wrong with starting out small and hoping you’ll get noticed. Sometimes that’s all it takes, and then sometimes a person just does what they want and manages to get satisfaction out of a job well done. In Sterling’s case he lucked out really.
6. He’s been pretty busy the last few years.
Sterling has been on multiple projects for the last few years and has been a very busy person what with the jumping from one project to another between films and TV. How he’s had time to breathe is kind of hard to imagine, but it’s assumed that even actors get days off occasionally.
5. He’s been prominent in Disney productions.
He’s had the look of a Disney kid for a while and it’s been well-founded since he’s shown up in several Disney productions that have allowed his career to blossom and continue forward on its current course. In fact a lot of kids that started with Disney have gone a long way with their careers.
4. He started acting in 2005.
He was just a kid when he started acting and to be honest he’s not much past that stage now, but he’s matured enough that he knows what’s going on and how to react to the industry and what it demands of him from day to day.
3. He’s kind of short for a guy.
He’s not super short but surprisingly he’s of average size it would seem, though average seems pretty short to a lot of people since a lot of actors are either in the upper reaches of five feet or well over six feet tall.
2. He’s got a decent following on social media.
Stirling has well over one hundred thousand followers on Twitter and there’s no telling just how many he has on other platforms but it’s assumed that he might have quite a few since a lot of people want to know what he’s doing and what he’s up to. Whether he gets to check it all the time and participate is unknown but there are a lot of people that are invested in his career in some way.
1. He took up acting at the age of 10.
There might have been a time when 10 years of age was considered young to be acting. Well honestly it still is, but the number of child actors has been growing throughout the years and doesn’t show any sign of stopping since the desire to see kids that are of the correct age for their roles has increased as well. It’s hard to find a teenager to pass off as a ten-year old.
So far his career is going just fine. Hopefully it stays that way.
