The throwback pic that Martha Stewart decided to put on Instagram has managed to set the internet ablaze when people take a good long look. You can’t really deny that once upon a time Martha Stewart was a knockout. Apparently she tried her hand at modeling for a time and if this picture is one of those that was buried for so long you can just imagine what others that they used must have been like. This kind of proves that Martha hasn’t always been just the food and home designing woman we know today. She definitely had a wilder side to her back in the 80’s, which was when this picture was taken, but it’s also obvious that she’s matured over the years and taken it down a couple of notches.
To be quite honest Martha looked good with longer hair, but then this was thirty-some years ago and time does a lot of work to make folks look very different when they begin to age. Martha Stewart is still a very good-looking older woman but the youth in this picture is someone that’s still very full of everything and ready to take on the world. The Martha that people know now is a little more sophisticated, wise, and very much the kind of person that has learned from the many lessons she’s gone through in her life. It’s interesting really to take a look at old photos and wonder just what happened between then and now that changed a person so drastically. Of course it all comes down to time and what we do with it that makes the biggest difference. You could say that Martha has been on a roll for a while and done at least one thing that she really regrets, but has otherwise had a pretty good life and career.
If you took a person that didn’t know Martha Stewart from anyone else and then put her current picture next to this one the results might be that the person wouldn’t think that the two were the same. After all, who looks the same as they did back in the 80’s, if they were alive at that point? Some people get lucky and don’t really age, but many others develop a lot of differences between one decade and another. Since this picture Stewart has managed to do a lot with her life and has shared it with many of those worldwide that have come to love and depend on her advice and her expertise when it comes to the home and cooking tips she gives out so readily. Back in the 80’s her name wasn’t known quite as well as it is now, but between then and now she’s done a lot that has been worthy of note and has captured the attention of many people, some of whom might have even been less than impressed back then.
This just goes to show that you shouldn’t judge a person based on the way they look, since at one point and time they were someone very different than they are now.
