Radhika Apte is a star of Bollywood and has been for well over a decade now. So far she’s proved that she can stand in with some of the biggest stars and hold her own as she’s amassed a good amount of fame in her home country and has no doubt been heard of in many others for her talent. That’s a good place to start as any since it doesn’t allow for anyone to say ‘cut’ when the production is running. In theater you have to practice, practice, and then practice some more so that you can hit your mark when you need to instead of having to wonder just how you’re going to fix a mistake that was just made. This seems like it would make for stronger actors that are more reliable when they need to be.

She had a brief role in a Hindi movie that was a kind of there-and-gone kind of thing. That’s how a lot of people start out though, they land a spot on a movie that uses them as little more than a glorified extra and from that point it’s up to them to make something happen. Whether or not their career goes anywhere depends on a lot of different factors but being tenacious about getting other parts is one thing that helps.

Learning dance seems like it would help pretty much anyone in films since the discipline and the movements can teach poise, balance, and other skills that might be needed later on. Dancing is also something that a lot of people tend to think of as great exercise and a skill that, for actors, is perhaps something that should be on their list of accomplishments to make them just a little more valuable.

Since her start in 2005 she hasn’t exactly been idle. The list of her appearances in movies and elsewhere is impressive as she’s racked up quite a resume and has several movies in post-production and a couple that are still being filmed. This woman definitely likes to say busy from the looks of the number of projects she has going at this moment. That’s one way to keep her stock rising however and to keep the popularity she enjoys.

She received her first starring role in the Bengali film Antaheen in 2009. Since then she’s been on a role and hasn’t been slowing down. That’s pretty normal for anyone that really gets into the film business with a passion to keep moving forward. If you’re not making movies then you’re risking the chance that your name could be replaced by someone else at any time.
She’s definitely ambitious.
