Angelique Rivera is an American actress who is best known for her role as Evy Dominguez on the ABC television series “American Crime.” She hit the ground running. landing the role just six months after moving to Los Angeles. She’s a regular on the show and will be around for the second season. She’s fairly new to the scene, and fans don’t know a lot about her yet, so here are five things about Angelique Rivera that you didn’t know.
She’s been acting since age 8
From the time that she was a small child, Angelique knew what she wanted to do with her life. She started at the age of 3 with dancing. By the tie she was 8 years old, she left the dancing behind to concentrate on singing and acting. She landed a role in the musical “Annie” as Pepper. She remained active in high school drama club and performed in the school’s plays and musicals as well as in community theater.
Angelique was an instant success
The offers started pouring in immediately and they haven’t stopped. Rivera’s success began within six months of auditioning and it’s been a constant stream since her first role as Evy. Her plate has been full with a variety of different roles and she’s just getting started. We may be witnessing the birth of a superstar.
Angelique’s 2017 Summer has been unbelievable
This year has been a very good one for the blossoming actress. She appeared as a guest star in an episode of the wildly popular television series, “Supernatural.” She took a different kind of acting job to represent the popular Wendy’s food chain in a national commercial this summer. In addition to all this, she accepted a supporting role in a Gus Van Sant film with Joaquin Phoenix, Jonah Hill and Jack Black.
She is a college graduate
Angelique Rivera has a bright future in the film and television industry, but she had the foresight to make preparations first. She attended the University of Florida in pursuit of her BFA and graduated early. While in college, she was accepted for an internship at the AEFH Talent Agency in Los Angeles for the summer. This helped her to make some very important connections that would help her to establish her career as an actress.
She has three new films pending
The Summer of 2017 has been a whirlwind for Angelique. In addition to a commercial and guest appearance on a TV series, she was busy with the filming of three new movies. This isn’t counting “Drink Slay Love” in 2017, which is a Lifetime television movie. She found herself on the set of “Avenge the Crows” in the role of Cammy; Eat, Brains, Love, which is currently in the post production stage, and in “Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Far on Foot,” as Terry Alvarado. This film has recently been completed.
It’s not clear what plans Angelique has for the future, or which roles she will be offered in the next few years, but if her starting is any indication of the middle or the ending, it appears that she has a bright future ahead of her.
