Jojo Romeo understands the luxury real estate business and we enjoy her presentations on Bravo’s “Real Estate Wars.” She’s a savvy and gorgeous business woman, but there is so much more that fans of the reality television series do not know about her. We dug a little deeper to discover five things about Jo Jo Romeo that you probably didn’t know.
1. Jojo is a chameleon
Jojo Romeo is one of those rare individuals who understands what it means to play a role and to do it successfully. When she’s making her pitch, she seems to have a gut sense of who her clients are and exactly how to enter into their good graces. It is almost as though she changes her personality, but in fact, she is a multifaceted person who knows how to build rapport with almost anyone and does it so very well. She’s convincing and from all appearances sincere when she speaks. This is a rare gift and there are not too many people who can be all things to all people, but Jojo seems to have this one in the bag.
2. She is a mom
Many successful business women choose to put their families on hold and focus on their careers, but this has not been the case with Jojo Romeo-Watson. She is the proud mom if five kids. She not only proceeded in having a family, but she has a full house. She started her family over 25 years ago with the youngest now just ten years old and the eldest child, 25. Jojo has the best of both worlds with a high geared successul career and a wonderful big family as well.
3. Jojo works to encourage other women to succeed
Romeo-Watson doesn’t just work hard to set a good example for other women to follow, she rolls up her sleeves and gets to the work of encouraging them in person. Jojo serves as the coach for a women’s empowerment group giving of her time, energy and the knowledge that she has gained through her own life and career. She is a selfless woman in her personal life and she likes to see others gain success in their lives.
4. She is a native of Canfield, Ohio
Jojo wasn’t born in Orange County, even though she seems to fit in so well with the crowd, She was actually born in Canfield, Ohio and attended high school there. She is still a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and attended college at Bowling Green State University. Her roots run deep in the Mahoning Valley with lots of family members still living in the area. It wasn’t until 1991 that she moved to Orange County to finish her degree in Long Beach at the University of California branch there.
5. She is a down to earth person
Jojo actually came out and said that she is a very down to earth person. Despite the fact that she knows how to wheel and deal with wealthy clients and fit into most circles, this isn’t who she is in her personal life. She credits her upbringing in Ohio for this and admits that she still maintains that mentality, which is far different from the lifestyle in Orange County, California.
