Nope, it isn’t still April 1st and this isn’t a hoax. It’s definitely the first time I’ve ever heard of this and while I’m not into gossip I’m definitely into anything involving J.J. from Good Times. And when you pair J.J. with a woman who everyone pretty much links to White Supremacy and supreme right wing garbage, it’s news in my book. Apparently Ann Coulter and Jimmie Walker are dating. The two have been friends for a long time and usually accompany each other to events. Coulter called the two “are dates” but never said they were “dating” as it were. Sitcom creator Norman Lear had the inside scoop.
In an interview with Black-ish creator Kenya Barris for EW, Lear casually revealed that Walker, who’s best known for playing the “dy-no-mite!” J.J. on Good Times, is dating conservative firebrand Coulter. “I love him; he’s a wonderful guy,” Lear told Barris. “But I’ll tell you something about him that’ll astound you: He dates Ann Coulter.” Lear goes on to explain that he once sat with Walker and Coulter at dinner and that she turned out to be “a dreamy, delicious, sweet person.” He insists that this has been going on “for some time.”
The relationship of these two goes all the way back in 2013 and speculation of the two dating goes back to then. In fact when White Supremacists found out about the alleged pair they basically freaked out. There’s nothing to substantiate this rumor as of now but just the thought of these two as a pair is DY-NO-MITE!!!
