In what is certainly not surprising for a Monday morning, Kellyanne Conway was blitzed with questions surrounding President Trump’s claim that Barack Obama ordered wiretapping at Trump Tower during the 2016 Presidential campaign. Conway had this to say and I quote: she told Chris Cuomo that she’s “not Inspector Gadget,” referring to the children’s cartoon show. Conway’s also been quoted as saying that Obama’s team might have used “microwaves” for surveillance on Trump’s team.
“What I can say is there are many ways to surveil each other,” Conway told the Record. “You can surveil someone through their phones, certainly through their television sets – any number of ways.” She added that monitoring could be done “microwaves that turn into cameras,” adding, “We know this is a fact of modern life.”
So, anyone else have a reaction? I do. If only Inspector Gadget were a real person it would be nice to see his reaction. Since Bill Nye is about the closest thing we have perhaps we should get these two into a Skype conversation and record it so that Nye can explain what microwaves are.
Also, don’t you wish Penny from Inspector Gadget were the President right now? She really had it together. Easily one of the smartest kids in the universe.
