Maxie and Nathan have been closer than ever on General Hospital, but it looks like things are taking a turn for the worse for this couple. They’ve been in a bad place for some time now that Claudette is back in town. Mostly because Nathan refuses to believe that she has an ulterior motive while Maxie is positive that Claudette is out to ruin her relationship with Nathan. We know that Maxie is correct, and she’s been working hard to find a way to make it end and to get her life back in order. However, Claudette is cunning and she knows that just her presence in their lives is enough to tear them apart at the moment.
She is not, however, finished. She has some news to share, and she’s sharing it with Griffin. What she has to share is not something we know much about at the moment, but we do know that she is going to shock him. He’s already convinced that she needs to get lost and go away, and now he will be even more shocked at what she has to say. What will he think? Will he dislike her? Will he tell? Will he handle things with the kind of diplomacy she expects him to have?
Maxie is fearful, and she needs to be. With the news that Claudette dropped and how Griffin reacts to it, she needs to worry. Her entire life is being turned upside down, and it’s only going to get worse from here on out. She’s got issues to face, and she’s got to do it in a way that makes her look like she’s not out to be spiteful. Can she handle it? We don’t know. What we do know is that whatever Claudette shares with Griffin about her past might change the way that Maxie views her life from start to finish. It’s a dangerous situation for her to be put in, but she’s going to handle it. Will Griffin share what he’s learned with Nathan and Maxie? Or will he keep Claudette’s trust and not share her secrets?
