For once, instead of a legitimate issue that Donald Trump has messed with in American policy, Stephen Colbert could actually make fun of our President for something “funny.” When Bill O’Reilly interviewed Donald Trump on Super Bowl Sunday, ratings were poor and the reception was lukewarm at best. However, one topic that arose was whether or not Donald Trump wore a bathrobe. The President denied ever having worn one. Somehow, not surprisingly, this became national news.
It even went as far as Sean Spicer having to answer questions about it. That’s correct people. The President’s own Press Secretary was forced to answer questions on whether or not his boss has worn a bathrobe. Of course the internet rushed to find pictures of Trump in a bathrobe. There were plenty of them. The best one is of course up top.
Trump has yet to respond to these photos but somehow I think that he’ll say they were doctored or that these accusations are “fake news.” If you didn’t catch The Late Show last night, John Oliver was a guest and he’s always a hoot. And of course Colbert did a whole bit on Betsy DeVos. We knew that was coming.
