There’s absolutely nothing subtle with the title “The Walking Dead is boring and I hate it.” This is what someone called their short film on their analysis of why they can’t stand AMC’s biggest show. It would be one thing if this were just an ordinary Youtube presence but Mr. Sunday is not a small character on Youtube. His channel has over 700,000 subscribers so people generally listen to his analysis. Plus his snarky English accent just makes the accounts more “intellectual” but also “rude” sounding.
Sunday explains why the show has been rife with problems ever since season 2. From unnecessary deaths to giant plot holes to comic book analysis, he pretty much covers it all in the 12:56 length video. I only have one question, and I’m serious. At what point is Mr. Sunday going to stop watching the show? If you think it’s been a mess since the second season why have you waited this long? Is it to create this video 6 years later? Have you been saving all this data only to bring it up now? The beauty of television is that you can turn it off whenever you want to.
But I guess some people find it important to try and shoot down other’s happiness in their favorite programming. I guess thanks are in order to these people for pointing out all the glaring errors? Sometimes ignorance is bliss.
