Young and the Restless: Victor Asks Nick to Spy on Chelsea

Young and the Restless fans might be a little surprised to learn that Nick might be asked to do something he doesn’t want to do in regards to Chelsea. Victor doesn’t seem to understand what his family meant when they told him to get out of their lives. They’re furious with him, but still he’s managed to make it seem like he doesn’t get it. Perhaps he’s forgotten how family works; and it’s not like dealing with angry employees. He’s going to speak to his son, the one who is perhaps more upset with him than anyone. He is going to have the nerve to ask Nick if he will make it a point to spy on Chelsea. Victor knows she wants to find the woman who killed her husband, and that might mean finding out he was behind it.

Nick is going to be a little more than shocked his father would ask this of him. His father is the reason his brother is dead, and the reason he and Chelsea are where they are right now. Is he really going to ask his son to spy on his new girlfriend, his brother’s widow? He is, but will Nick do it? He does have some interest in keeping Chelsea from learning what really happened in this entire situation. If she manages to uncover the truth about Victor’s involvement in this situation, she’d learn that Nick knew about it, protected his father, and kept such a big secret from her.

Victor is going to continue to have seriously crazy thoughts. If Adam is alive, in his mind, that’s all it takes for his family to forgive him. He’ll feel they have no reason to be upset with him if this is the case. He simply won’t understand why they’re still so upset with him when he comes back. Victor has a lot to learn, and the return of Adam might make it a little more obvious to him. Perhaps he will finally understand things aren’t as good as they seem in his life, and that his family meant it when they kicked him out.
