Young and the Restless fans want to know if Adam is coming back. His story is one that’s been widely reported for so long. Chloe believed he was the person responsible for killing her daughter. Victor Newman helped her leave a mental facility to come to Genoa City in disguise and frame him for committing a murder he did not commit. He was played by Justin Hartley, shot in the chest with a dart gun, and the cabin in which he was hiding was blown to pieces. He was killed — all by Chloe who was working for Victor at the time. Adam had escaped from prison and was in the market to leave the country with Chelsea and Connor. This threw Chelsea’s entire life into turmoil and changed things forever. It was only through coincidence that she became so close to Chloe. It’s been ugly.
Now it turns out that Nick uncovered the real truth that Chloe is responsible, Victor is in on it, and he’s got to find out what happened to his brother so he can give Chelsea some peace. But the real question now is whether Adam Newman is alive. The answer is YES. He is alive, and he will be back. But, fans can’t get too excited at the moment, because he will not be the same face you’ve seen for the past three years. Justin Hartley will not be back to portray the role of Adam Newman. Instead, it looks as if the original Adam, Michael Muhney, since 2009 will be back to play the role. He shot some scenes recently as the allegedly deceased Adam Newman, and we have a feeling this means he’s back for good.
When will he return? Will he be able to rekindle his romance with Chelsea? Will Victor go down for all of it? Will this happen the way we think it will? Will fans be happy to see Muhney back instead of Hartley? His face is familiar, but it’s not the same face that everyone remembers anymore. Either way, we will see soon enough how this will go.
