Young and the Restless fans are not at all surprised to see that life is not going Mariah’s way. She ended her relationship with Devon because she has such strong feelings for Tessa, a woman she’s only known a short time who apparently doesn’t reciprocate her feelings. It’s been a tragic moment in her life, and it’s been on that no one can seem to handle. Now we face a few other issues. She’s got to find a way to tell this woman she is completely and totally in love with her, but she also has to find a way to tell her that she’s not happy.
But she’s not going to get a chance to do that now that things have changed in her life. Tessa isn’t interested. She’s actually moving in with Noah and making their relationship more official. Mariah pretends to be very happy for them, and Tessa assures her that she is going to be her friend no matter what.
But it’s not good enough for Mariah. She wants more than a friendship with a woman who is living with a man, but that’s not what she’s going to get. She’s got to accept where she is in life and deal with the fact that she has reaped what she thought she might sew. It’s too late for them, and she has to make some life choices or face being alone for the rest of her life. What will she choose to do?
