Young and the Restless fans knew the moment Theo showed up in town and made it clear that he was not a friend to Kyle that things would take a very serious turn for the worst. Of course, we knew that he had some information about the Abbott family, Kyle specifically, and that he knew more than he was sharing, but we didn’t know precisely what. In fact, we can admit that we will don’t know what he is up to and how much he knows, wants to share, or has already shared, but we do know that he is a man we cannot trust, and Kyle’s been saying that from day one. He’s making it clear he is all up in Kyle’s territory right now, and Kyle is not a fan of this. He is not a fan of being in this situation, of having this happen, or of being in a place where this is his life.
But we also know that this will not change if Jack can prevent Ashley from offering him a job with her in Paris. He wants to see Theo stay here, but she wants to take him with. Kyle is leaning more on her side of things since it means Paris is not Genoa City. On the other side of things, we know that Chelsea and Nick have some very ugly realities to face about their lives and what is going on with them. Things are not going as well as they might have hoped, and they both seem to want to fix it. However, they don’t seem to be fully aware of how they can fix it while also making things right. They seem confused and upset, and we do get that. But, for now, we have to assume that they are not going to see things change right away.

There’s a lot going on this week, but not much of it is being made know just yet. You see, there is a big deal this week called Thanksgiving, which means many shows are being pre-empted on certain days, there will be other things airing, some old episodes of some shows, and so much more. There is also a chance that there will be a very special edition of the Jack Abbott 30 years situation as Peter Bergman celebrates a rather impressive anniversary on the show, so you can expect to see that coming up. Additionally, there will be more on Thanksgiving. There will be a family dinner at the Newman household in which Victor and Nikki want everyone to get along at the ranch.
As expected, we can see this taking a very ugly turn for the worst. There will be more than a few issues, there will be some snags, and there will be some snafus along the way. Some people will be quite miserable. Other people will not know what to do, and someone will end up in a bad place. Additionally, other residents of Genoa City will spend their time at Crimson trying to help the homeless and the less fortunate with their life issues. They will help them celebrate this holiday with a warm meal and more than they can ask for, and it will be a wonderful situation. We love that they do this and that they make it such a priority each year, and we cannot wait to see.
