Young and the Restless fans know that many things went down at the start of the week, and that’s what the show is all about. For one, we did see that Michael had some negotiations to try with Adam. They did not work, of course. Adam is not a man who is willing to compromise about anything at all, and that’s just how he is as a person. He’s a man who likes to make sure things work in his favor, and we get that. He’s a man who likes to have the world at his fingertips, and he’s a man who likes to get what he wants. Michael knows that, so we aren’t sure why he was focused on making this situation seem any different than it is right now. For one, though, we do think that there might be more to this than we saw coming.
Abby and Nate finally shared a kiss, and she’s got to think about what this means for her. She’s not sure about things, and he is a man who is clearly more into her than she is into him. She’s not all that into this only because she was recently hurt and went through a lot with Arturo. She’s not sure she wants to deal with anything like that again, and we don’t blame her. We don’t think she’s the kind of woman who has to deal with things like this to get her own way, and we aren’t sure that things will ever work for her and Nate, but we like this situation for now. Jack and Ashley are back together, too, and he’s making family decisions that will change the life his family knows. They will not all be thrilled about it, but some things are better than they seem, right?

Nick might want to watch his back right now as his games are coming to light. Someone is going to realize he doesn’t mean what he says and he’s not being himself in the meantime, and he’s going to end up in major trouble. But, for now, he’s going to continue to feel that he is living his best life and all is well within their lives. Of course, this is not going to go well. Michael is going to remove himself after the case against Nick goes totally awry, and we get that. We are not surprised by any of this, and it makes more sense to us now than it has in the past. You see, we all know that he was filmed as JT, and it’s all been a mess since this story came to light. It’s going to cause some serious problems. And we didn’t see this coming.
On the other hand, we know that Sharon is going to clash with Chelsea, shockingly. They don’t get along, and we’ve known this for a long time. But, they will not kiss and make up any time in the near future. They are just too far gone for that kind of thing, and we get it. But, for now, we have to let this play out. Summer is going to see a little bit of Theo she didn’t see in the past, and that might means something good for her future. Perhaps she can move on from Kyle? We hope so.
