Young and the Restless fans are still reeling over the week last week. Nikki was gone, and then she was back, and now she’s all right, and suddenly she seems to not be so injured from the accident. It was some kind of record short-lived injury if you ask us, and she’s definitely going to turn herself in to save her daughter and their friends and her husband. He’s been arrested — oh, he’s back if you missed that — and he’s been charged with the murder of JT. He’s not going to pinpoint this on his wife by any means, but he is going to make some changes if he can. She will want to confess, but he will not allow this to happen. And that’s where he is as a husband and a father. He will do anything he can to make sure the women he loves are protected from this man and his legacy.
And then there is Victoria and her feelings. She’s not sure what to do. Billy, her own ex, has made it clear to her that he is interested in something a little more than just friendship with her. But she’s also been making out with a very married man. Cane’s wife might be in prison, but that hasn’t stopped them from sharing some very passionate kisses and swearing that it will never happen again. She’s not sure what she wants to do, but hearing her own son tell her that he and Charlie are the men who caused the accident that ran over her mother and almost took her life was too much. There’s so much on her plate right now that we don’t know if we can even handle all that is going on. She’s a mess, and we cannot help but wonder if she’s going to continue making poor choices because of her current state of mind.

Well, now it’s Monday. And that’s less fun. But we do have a moment in our hearts that leads us right to Friday and the fact that in five short days we get to let go of all the responsibilities and things again. That’s fun — and we like it.

Things aren’t going well for either Cane or Victoria. She’s torn about her feelings, and she’s not sure what to do. There was a time barely a year ago when we all thought she might just turn around and fall for Billy again. She seemed to want him back, but he was very into Phyllis at the time. We thought she might be able to steal him back from the woman he was with, but that did not work for him. Instead, it was just a mess in every which way. We think that there are things that might work out in some other way, though. Then there is Cane, who has no idea what to do with his life. He is in love with his wife, who is in prison, but he doesn’t like who she is becoming as she is adjusting to that life.
He’s going to open up to Jill, who might just have some shocking and interesting advice for him. And we think that he might not want to share all he is feeling with her at the moment. She will use that to get what she wants from him at some point if she feels that it suits her, and we worry that will cause some problems in his own life. We don’t know for certain, but we do worry about that in more ways than one. If we can get him to work out things in his own mind, that would be better for his marriage and life.
