Wonder Woman opened to an eye popping $200 million plus worldwide over the weekend and it’s safe to say this movie is going to be talked about for a very long time. Not only is it the movie that has gotten the DCEU to crack through the comic book movie success portal, it’s elevating females in Hollywood to an equal status to men. Having a female director at the helm and Gal Gadot as the lead is going to make many Hollywood executives rethink their priorities when it comes to evaluating what kinds of movies will be successful.
Given the success of the movie, you can bet that in addition to analysis of women’s empowerment and the quality of the movie, fans are going to be offering up a ton of fun stuff on the internet. This will include mashups, fan art, I’m sure some crazy Etsy and Thinkgeek products and so much more.
