Big Brother: Celebrity Edition airs on CBS and if the goal was to spice up Monday evenings, many would consider that goal accomplished. The show started on January 21 but there have already been some surprises, something that just about anyone should have come to expect by now. If you’re like most people, then you’re wondering who is going to win this season. In order to figure that out, you have to know a little more about this season first.
Before we get into who’s left to compete, let’s go over the ones who are already out the door. For starters, you have the house guest who was never really a house guest in the first place, none other than Anthony Scaramucci. Good grief, you should have known that someone associated with Donald Trump would find a way to get into something like this. Somebody, please make it stop.
Aside from the house guest that never was, you have two of them that have already been forced out the door, quite literally. Your evicted competitors are thus far an actor by the name of Jonathan Bennett and the Olympic swimmer who will forever be known for pulling grade school- level pranks when he should have been acting like an adult, the infamous Ryan Lochte. Apparently, the other house guests didn’t want much to do with either one of these individuals and neither did the audience. Now that we have all that behind us, let’s move on to the ones who are still left.
The nine remaining house guests are, in no particular order, comedian and LA native Tom Green, Tamar Braxton, two more actors, Kato Kaelin and Joey Lawrence, singer Kandi Burruss, NFL player Ricky Williams, Olympic competitor Lolo Jones, retired wrestler Natalie Eva Marie, and get ready for this one, Lindsay Lohan’s mother Dina. This seems like a recipe for utter disaster and in many ways, that’s exactly what the producers want. Remember, they picked this mix on purpose. The idea was to put all of these different personalities together and just let them do what they do. The thing is, when you have so many people under one roof with such strong personalities, things are bound to get heated and it won’t take long for it to happen, either.
Anyway, there’s no doubt that everyone has their own perception regarding who actually has the best chance to win this thing. Some of the people who are participating seem to be just a tad too “normal” to even have the slimmest of chances. If you’re looking for advice on picking a winner, perhaps you should look to Dina Lohan. She is by far the most controversial person in the entire cast but more importantly, she is someone who clearly knows how to be devious and she is ruthless enough to get the job done, no matter what it takes.
If you think that she isn’t capable of winning this little contest, remember how she managed her daughter’s career, not to mention her life. There was a time when Lindsay Lohan was just a sweet little girl who had a tremendous amount of talent as an actress. As she got older, she ended up in the tabloids and in the news practically every time you turned around, and it was never for anything positive. Many people laid the blame for much of it squarely on the shoulders of her mother, who was in charge of her career, her finances, and everything in between. According to many, she was a mess because that is all she experienced growing up.
The thing you can take away from all of this is that she knows how to get whatever she wants and she’s not above doing whatever it takes in order to get it. She can be cunning, especially when the situation can be tipped in her favor. Moreover, there doesn’t seem to be a shred of conscious involved here, and when you have that type of situation, anything goes. That’s exactly why she has the best shot at winning the whole thing. Of course, only time will tell. That’s part of the excitement of the whole situation. You never really know what will happen until it’s already done.
