I’m not 100% sure when the novelty of “Carpool Karaoke” is going to wear off but it seems like we’re still a long ways from it. Each time the bar gets set a little bit higher, James Corden seems to come through on his Late Late Show. Last night’s session was incredibly memorable as Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett-Smith went a little “crazy” grooving out to Prince’s “Let go Crazy.”
Queen Latifah took the cast of “Girls Trip” for a spin in the SUV for her own “Carpool Karaoke.” And the multi-hyphenate held it down, except for the time she nearly rear-ended another vehicle. The “Late Late Show” host handed over the keys to his trademark segment Wednesday night, airing a preview of Apple Music’s new spinoff. In the clip, Latifah and Jada Pinkett Smith drove around singing some Prince and yelling at fellow motorists to see their movie.
A little later, their “Girls Trip” co-stars piled into the back, firing promotional t-shirts for the Universal Pictures production at pedestrians. Check out the video below:
