Trump Sexual Misconduct Accusers Appear with Megyn Kelly on Today

The turbulence created by the constantly growing list of ladies who are accusing some of America’s most powerful men of sexual harassment does not appear to have reached its apex. To add fuel to the fire, several females who have accused Donald Trump of sexual Harassment that transpired prior to his run for president have come forward. On yesterday, the ladies appeared with Megyn Kelly to discuss their accusations in hopes of giving credibility to their claims. There have been all types of rumors circulating about Donald Trump and his misogynistic approach to engaging ladies.

Prior to Donald Trump being elected to the office of president, a tape surfaced of him talking about grabbing females in their private area and without their consent. The concern of the women that are coming forward is that the election of Donald Trump almost serves as an endorsement of the behavior described in their complaints, and it appears that is how the Trump administration has interpreted. The White House responded to the news that these women would be on national television by calling the accusations absurd and pointing to the fact that the American people had already spoken on the matter when they elected Donald Trump as president.

The truth is that many people likely viewed the accusations as not being true but being a desperate attempt to discredit Donald Trump as a candidate. The ladies who appeared with Megyn Kelly were not only sharing their story, but they were preparing to openly demand that Congress investigate their claims and hold Donald Trump to the same standard that all the other men of power are being held as their stories of sexual harassment emerge. Basically, they are suggesting that if Donald Trump is to be the ultimate representation of America and its values, then he should be held to the standards demanded by those very values.

When asked to respond to the assertion by the White House that their claims were false and unfounded, Rachel Cooks responded, “while these incidents span decades, they are eerily similar.” Before these stories emerged, it is not likely that these females knew one another, eliminating the possibility of collaboration on the stories that they have told. Based on the stories that these ladies are telling, it appears that Donald Trump has a proclivity to treat females like chattel, reducing them to property and ignoring their right to decline his advances. Cooks revealed that she was only 22-years-old when she had her encounter with Donald Trump. She admits that the encounters made her uncomfortable because he was someone that she saw regularly because her firm’s office was in Trump Towers.

Samantha Holvey, another one of Trump’s accusers, and former Miss North Carolina told Kelly that the day that Trump was sworn into office was a very “somber” day for her. In October 2016 that Holvey claims that Trump made her feel like a piece of meat as he personal inspected each contestant in the pageant, a pageant that he owned at the time.

The third accuser, Jessica Leeds, said that Trump grabbed her breasts without her consent but that was not the worst of it. She also says that he put his hand underneath her skirt during the same encounter. These interviews and statements come on the heels of a statement made by the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley. Haley made it clear that it is the right of victims to be heard, even when the person who is the accused perpetrator happens to be the President of the United States.
