The Top Uses of the Song “Bad To the Bone” in Movies or TV

Despite not scoring too high on the charts this is still one of the most used songs in TV and films since it’s so simple to sing and has a great beat. It’s also one of the most recognizable songs from the 80’s that can be used for so many different situations. You simply know that when you hear it that something’s about to pop off or someone’s about to get what’s coming to them. It’s the kind of tune that helps a scene gain the needed emotion and momentum that really allows viewers to dig into what’s to come.

5. South Park

Cartman is probably the only character in South Park that should really come with this song as his label. It doesn’t matter that he’s still a kid, he’s about as crass and rude as they come mostly because he has very lenient and kind of vapid mother that doesn’t punish him all that often for his ill behavior. He might not be a total outlaw but he’s definitely bad.

4. Megamind

To be fair Megamind wasn’t given much of chance as a youngster. Everything he did, even when he was trying to be good, was a colossal failure that put people’s lives in danger. When he finally decided to be bad however he was still kind of a flop but at the very least he’d decided on a direction that he wanted to take his life in. He just didn’t seem to know HOW to be bad.

3.  Married With Children

This episode of one of the funniest shows on TV during its run had to do with Peggy changing Al’s bathroom into a pink nightmare. Being a man’s man, Al just couldn’t do his business in a room that looked a giant gumball had exploded all over. So in retaliation he decided to do the only thing he could to take his bathroom back, he used his own version of chemical warfare.

2. Major Payne

Payne is the kind of soldier that you wouldn’t want to cross even on a good day when he’s in one of his rare good moods. The chances are good that he’ll still take some kind of offense and find a way to make you pay for it without bothering to concern himself with the legality of the act. Of course he might not kill you, he’d probably just hurt you really, REALLY bad.

1. Problem Child

He’s the original, take no substitute piece of work that you wouldn’t want in your house no matter how forgiving you are. The Problem Child, Junior, is so bad that you might think he’s the actual spawn of the devil since he’s disruptive, destructive, and has no qualms about doing whatever it takes to insure that he has fun and your life is turned upside down. But of course at his core is just a little boy wanting to be loved. The trick is learning how to get past all the other stuff in order to find it.

Bad to Bone is still an awesome song and can still be heard throughout pop culture.
