This 1996 slasher film combined horror with black comedy. Neve Campbell plays the movie’s heroine, Sidney Prescott, who is being hunted down by a mysterious killer called ‘Ghostface’. ‘Scream’ was written by Kevin Williamson and directed by Wes Craven. It also starred David Arquette, Courtney Cox, Matthew Lillard, Rose McGowan, Skeet Ulrich, and Drew Barrymore. It was a commercial success grossing $173 million from a $14 million budget. There are three sequels to this movie and many of the original cast reprise their roles, including Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott.
