5. Barbara- Night of the Living Dead (1990)
The 1990 horror film ‘Night of the Living Dead’ is a remake of the 1968 film of the same name. George A. Romero rewrote the original screenplay which was written by John A. Russo and Tom Savini directed the movie. Patricia Tallman stars as the heroine, Barbara, in the movie opposite Tony Todd as Ben. Other cast members included Tom Towles, McKee Anderson, Heather Mazur, William Butler, Katie Finneran, Bill Moseley, and Russell Streiner. The movie is about a zombie attack. Ben and Barbara must fight off the zombies. The movie had only moderate commercial success as it grossed $5.8 million from a budget of $4.2 million. In the original 1968 movie, the roles of Ben and Barbara are played by Duane Jones and Judith O’Dea.
