6. Sarah Carter- The Descent

‘The Descent’ is a British adventure horror movie that was released in 2005. The story is about six women who go on an adventure in a cave system and then become trapped. They hunted by subterranean humanoids who eat flesh. Shauna Macdonald play the role of heroine Sarah Carter who survives the ordeal and makes it out of the cave system. The film was written and directed by Neil Marshall and also starred Natalie Mendoza, Alex Reid, Saskia Mulder, MyAnna Buring, and Nora-Jane Noone. The sequel to this film, ‘The Descent Part 2′, was released in 2009. This was directed by Jon Harris who was an editor on the first film.
