At this point in the whole Tomi Lahren charade against Glenn Beck’s The Blaze, I’m not sure whether I should be laughing, crying, or just ignoring this whole thing. But to be perfectly honest it’s hard to ignore. I’m not crying. So I guess that laughing is next in line? As many of you know Tomi Lahren filed a suit on April 7th against Beck’s company The Blaze for wrongful termination. Lahren was removed of her position shortly after an appearance on the View in which she came out as pro-choice. However, fast forward ten days later and Beck is firing right back at Lahren. According to USA Today
Beck and The Blaze contend that Lahren is still an employee, a statement the company first made after Lahren filed suit. Lahren’s contract with the company ends in September
“In reality, her employment agreement with TheBlaze remains in full force and effect, she continues to be employed (and paid) by TheBlaze, and she has access to her social media accounts, as well as a Facebook page TheBlaze created and maintains,” the counterclaim, which was filed in the Dallas County District Court, alleged.
Beck and his company requested a temporary restraining order and a temporary injunction.
Restraining order. Right! That’s the part I’m laughing at. Can we all just agree that both Glenn Beck and Tomi Lahren are going to be just fine after all the dust settles? Come on already. This is absurd. Why am I covering this?
