Situated in the Mojave Desert about a half hour’s drive from Las Vegas, Nevada, is the beautiful Boulder City Pet Cemetery. Spanning over 3 acres this place is (in my opinion) an ultimate tribute to our furry friends. It is in great disrepair, it is illegal to bury your pets here (people still do), and it is reportedly haunted like all great cemeteries are.
The place is heartbreaking-ly sweet and all I have ever felt out there is love. Here are 15 photographs I took of it. Thank you for viewing. *Sensitivity warning: This area is in a flood plain as well as open to coyotes and other desert scavengers. Sometimes the graves are opened up as you may see in some of these shots.
