Ben Haggerty, better known as Macklemore on stage, was raised in Seattle, Washington and became interested in rap when he was a teenager. By the time he’d graduated and gone on to college he was already writing his own lyrics and making plans to start a group and perform his own tracks. Once he got going it took a while but eventually he did manage to break into the mainstream and as you already know his music has been entertaining fans far beyond the boundaries of his home as he’s continued to expand his fanbase and create new and well-liked tracks that have captured peoples’ attention and kept his reputation moving in a decidedly upwards direction. A couple of his songs are no doubt more popular than others since they caught on so quickly and didn’t diminish with time, but he’s been seen to be a rather talented individual that has given a lot of people something rather impressive.

5. Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation – Downtown
If monster movies were to go this way in live action it seems plausible to say that most people might agree that they were on the way out. After booking a cruise for Drac and his buddies as well as their family Mavis and the bunch make their way to Atlantis, where Drac’s mortal enemy, Abraham Van Helsing, and his great-granddaughter Ericka, are planning on setting a trap for all the monsters in order to destroy them. Along the way however Drac and Ericka fall in love, and she can’t help but save him from the fate that her great-grandfather has in store. And just like that, mortal enemies become friends.
4. Lip Sync Battle Shorties – Can’t Hold Us
The shorts series of Lip Sync Battle is just as entertaining as the regular show since watching everyone get into it and listening to the songs is a lot of fun. It also gives a lot of enjoyment to the crowd that shows up to listen and watch as they roar their approval for their favorite dancers and no doubt love the music that they choose to perform their act to. It’s still funny to think that lip syncing used to be looked down on with such disdain no matter what and now it’s part of something that’s actually very positive and encouraged. So long as it’s fun it definitely seems okay and the fans would agree.
3. Multi Female – Can’t Hold Us
Having stumbled upon this remix while searching for clips this was just too good to pass up since it seems to indicate that someone is really pushing for an all-female superhero movie or at least is showing a great deal of appreciation to the ladies within these varied shows. And why not? The women in so many shows as of late, and within the past decade and more, have been seen as stronger, more capable, and definitely on par with some of the men when it comes to their abilities and what they can do. It might just be time for an all-female hero movie, as it would be something awesome without a doubt.
2. Tammy – Thrift Shop
Tammy is one of those folks that has just never manged to figure out what she wants to do in life. She wants to blame everything and everyone else for her problems but never seems to do anything to make her life better. But when she goes on a road trip with her grandmother, getting in trouble almost the whole way, she’s finally given a bit of tough love by her grandmother’s cousin, whereupon she is then arrested for robbing her former job. When she gets out she starts trying her best to turn her life around, making amends with people and doing what she can in order to move forward.
1. Macklemore – Thrift Shop
You had to know that this clip would be in here, if only because it was one of the best songs that Macklemore’s come up with since he got started and is still one that people tend to sing every now and then and groove to whenever it comes on. It’s a very simple song and very easy to like since it tackles the idea of going to the thrift store and finding something that you can use no matter what it is or what the original purpose might have been. Some people actually turn their noses up at the prospect of going into a thrift store, but honestly that’s where you can find a lot of interesting stuff. And hey, they make sure it’s all clean.
Wherever you hear Macklemore you can be certain that people are going to groove to the music as much as they want since his voice is kind of captivating and his songs are usually pretty awesome.
