It’s a funny thing when people don’t want their name to be their claim to fame. Funny, but also kind of understandable since if you really want to make it in show business, trading on a family name, as Enrique Iglesias was trying to avoid, is not the preferred method. It seems to state that you don’t have enough talent on your own so it’s necessary to say “My family is so and so”. That’s just a poor way to start a career a lot of times unless you’re already a proven actor and don’t mind telling people that you’ve earned your merit just like the rest of your family. Enrique was on the road a lot during his life and was raised by a nanny much of the time, the same nanny that he took a loan from in order to start his musical career, which he didn’t want his father knowing about. Eventually his father would come to know that his son was famous, but starting out Enrique wanted no excuses. You can’t blame him really.

5. Lip Sync Battle – Bailando
Lupita Nyong’o has been hitting some high notes as of late in her career and being on this show is just one among many that has allowed to really flourish as an actress. Lip syncing to Enrique Iglesias however is something that seems like it would be a lot of fun and she’s certainly having a good time with it. This show almost makes a person want to become a celebrity just for the chance to come on stage and have a good time with a song that you happen to really like. The stars that have come on the show thus far have obviously had a great time since most of them get up there and just groove with the song without any real effort needed.
4. Once Upon A Time in Mexico – La Flor De Mal
Taking off a number of years after Desperado, this movie is about an agent that has hired El Mariachi, the same man played by Antonia Banderas in the first film, to take out a corrupt Mexican general that is plotting to assassinate the Mexican president. As things begin to go awry the agent has his eyes carved out and El Mariachi recruits two of his friends to help in the effort to kill not only the general but the drug lord that hired him. Eventually the bad guys are dealt with, the Mariachi’s are paid and take off, and the agent is able to take down the treacherous woman that cost him his eyes. El Mariachi donates the money he’s taken to his village and disappears into the sunset.
3. Step Up 2: The Streets – Push
The battles have moved beyond the studio and into the streets for this one as a new crew gets together in order to show what they’ve got and prove that they have the discipline and the skills to take on any comers. Watching this movie is pretty much like watching any other dance movie but unique on its own merits since the movements and the choreography are hard-hitting and intriguing to those that are uninitiated in the ways of dance battles. Taking place in the rain though makes it seem even more exciting since it adds a great deal of flair to the dance battle and a level of difficulty that seems outright insane, but also very alluring.
2. Hot Tub Time Machine – Hero
A lot of us have that one friend that will never shut up and also never grow up, and that’s Lou to a tee. The guy will brag about anything he can and yet he couldn’t fight his way out of a paper bag. Even with the knowledge of how to beat up on a person as an adult in his young body he’s still kind of a pathetic sight to watch when he tries to outdo the ski patrol in an effort to get the energy drink he and his buddies need to fix their hot tub time machine. Yes that sounds so completely ludicrous but if you watch the film then you might agree that the whole idea is insane on a whole new level, but still funny.
1. Scrubs – Hero
You could say so many things about Dr. Cox, few of them being entirely complimentary, but one thing you can count on is that he’s not about to lose face when it comes to certain aspects of life. When his back goes out he feels every single moment and every little movement brings him another spike of agony. But he never fully lets on that he’s in pain, as that would be an admission to those around him that he’s anything but invincible.
Enrique is the kind of guy you listen to when you want something fun and still kind of light.
