If you have kids it’s time to admit it, you’ve thought about dressing them up as your favorite pop culture or sci-fi heroes when they were newborns. From the time they’re born until a certain age, say around 3 or 4, it’s possible to dress your kids up any way they like since they can’t really tell you that the ensemble you’re dressing them in is embarrassing or not at all cool. This could be a mom thing, but some dads get in on it too since having a newborn is kind of like having a doll that cries, poops, and eats, not necessarily in that order. But a lot of people might agree that it’s kind of fun to dress up their newborn in this manner.
The Force is strong with this one. Essentially every little girl with parents that are Star Wars fans is destined to be a little Leia, Rey, or even Padme eventually. But this one at least includes other characters in the picture since mom or dad, or both, are obviously enamored enough with Star Wars that they wanted a comprehensive photo.
Thankfully they went with the lasso and the customary colors rather than the sword and shield, though don’t rule that out with some parents. Thankfully newborns don’t usually know what’s going on so posing them and dressing them is typically a lot easier. And when they’re sleeping like this taking pictures is a LOT easier.
This picture seems like a dark and foreboding motif for a newborn but then again any kid that can look back at this and say that they were made into Bat-baby might do so with pride. After all, in a world of superheroes that have extraordinary abilities and can just about break the world in half, the Batman is one of the coolest guys around since he has to work within his limitations.
Thankfully this baby won’t be left on the doorstep of a family what will make them sleep in a broom closet under the stairs while growing up. That kind of begs the question of how the Dursley’s took care of poor Harry during his infancy. Did they just toss him a bottle and hope that he’d feed himself? That’s kind of a disturbing thought.
There’s been an awakening in the Force. More and more parents that grew up during the rise of Star Wars must be thrilled that such things as this exist. Now they can share their love for the movies with their unsuspecting children.
You’ve got to love the photography of Natalie Houlding here, she makes it look pretty cool even if adults can figure out just how the picture’s being taken. Imagine though the look of amazement that might come to a younger child’s face if this happened to be their sibling.
Now that is a temper tantrum that no one would want to see. Just imagine if the kid got hungry and wasn’t fed in time. You’d want a forest of lightning rods on top of your home just to feel safe.
This seems like it would be one of the more popular pictures to take with your newborn in the current era since Captain America has been one of the more popular heroes as of late.
Just wait until that kid gets up on their hands and knees and gets going, then this picture will make a lot more sense.
So how many of us can relate to this picture? They’re so lovable when they’re sleeping, but then they wake up.
Whose will is stronger, yours or your child’s? Every parent has had that dilemma for certain.
Kids are the best at what they do, but what they do tends to get a little messy at times, especially when it’s your turn to clean them up.
Every little girl is some parent’s princess.
This whole mommy and daddy perspective is very real but it’s also very funny since dads tend to get the stink eye from moms when they see something different.
The parents that do stuff like this must want their kids to look back and think that they were so cool when they were newborns. Hopefully it’d be inspirational enough that they’d grow to be cool parents as well.
