Supercut of Jackie Chan Easily Making His Way Over Fences

A lot of us have jumped a fence in our lives for one reason or another, but how many have ever done it in the same style as Jackie Chan? I’m going to guess the number is pretty low since Chan is one of the best at getting around obstacles on film that anyone has ever seen. The way he does it makes it look like jumping a fence would be simple, but the honest to goodness truth is that when you see the finished product you don’t often get to see how many takes it required to get it right.

You also don’t always get to see just how badly Jackie hurt himself on some occasions when the stunts went wrong. He’s broken so many bones in his body to date that for a while he couldn’t get insured to do his own stunts when he came to America and started filming. No one wanted to take him on because he was one giant, walking risk factor thanks to the fact that he does all his own stunts in his movies.

Eventually he was able to do what he always does, which is work his own stunts and make them look good in the process. But if you’ve ever seen the outtakes then you know he’s been through the wringer a few times in his life. He’s beaten up his body so badly that a few of his bones had to be fused together the injuries were so bad. Chan has also been sidelined many times with injuries so severe that he had to take months off just to recover.

But he’s a great actor and an awesome action star without question. He’s been in films with some of the best n his time, and has held his own when it comes to action and dialogue as well. You know however that no matter what the film is like that people are almost always going to be expecting to see Jackie Chan do something amazing even if it’s a simple fight scene or as grandiose as an elaborate escape scene that just boggles the mind as you watch him move about.

He takes his lumps in the movies and obviously in real life, but overall he’s one of the best actors and action stars that anyone has ever seen. His style of martial arts is simply amazing and his talent is beyond reproach. The ability he has to move and contort or shift his body when needed is something that many people are envious of since it belies a strength and agility that a lot of people just don’t have. Let’s face it, there are a lot of us that wish we could move like this guy and just two-step it over a fence like he could. The kind of grace he possesses is uncanny and seems so effortless that you get the feeling that might be able to do something like this at will.

Don’t be fooled though, it takes a lot of practice and even Jackie Chan messes up sometimes. He just knows how to make it look good.
