I was a huge fan of “All that she wants” when it first came out in the 90s. And back then whenever I heard a song that I liked I would rush to go buy the CD. It’s probably why my first CD’s in the entire world that I owned were “Shaq Diesel” and whatever the Crash Test Dummies album was called. When you love the songs “What’s up doc” and “Mmmmm mmmmm” it makes sense that as a troubled teen you’d go out and spend close to $40 just so you can hear those songs along with around 38 other songs not worth hearing.
Ace of Base falls into the category of “impulse CD buys” I made in the 90s. All I ever heard was “All that she wants” before I made the purchase. But luckily this CD buy turned out to be a great one because “The Sign” and “It’s a beautiful life” are on that CD making the purchase money well spent.
But with regard to songs that just make you feel great, “The Sign” is way up there. It’s funny because it’s now 2017 and you still hear “The Sign” being played on the radio and even in some commercials. Let’s get in a good mood today and listen to “The Sign.”
