If you were lucky enough to purchase an NES mini while they were being sold, consider yourself lucky and hold onto it for deal life. If not, perhaps you’ll be able to get the mini Super Nintendo that’s on its way. If you aren’t able to have either, don’t worry about it. There are still plenty of ways you can play classic NES games. There are loads of emulators out there. The only issue with these is that you’re generally playing with your keyboard.
There’s nothing quite the same as the old school NES controller with the two buttons and simple arrow. So what if there was a gigantic one out there that actually worked? You know, one made from LEGO? You’re in luck! A company called Crazy Circuits has a Kickstarter page and here’s their message.
We created a huge fully functional USB NES Controller made entirely out of LEGOs and Crazy Circuits components. The process is simple, it just takes a bit of time. Follow our build guide to make your own. If the large version is too much we also have information on how to make a smaller hand held version using the same electronic parts. Back us on Kickstarter
