Days of Our Lives fans all know that Robert Scott Wilson is a man who shows up for little more than a good reason to give everyone a shock. He’s a man who doesn’t bother with things like keeping people feeling good. He plays Ben, the disturbed young man who sees things, can’t get his reality straight from his fiction, and who cannot see to get his life in order at all. He’s in a lot of trouble as a serial killer, and he’s back in town. And we want to know more about Robert Scott Wilson.
1. He Made History
Did you know that the man who is crazy Ben on Days is also the very first male model ever hired by the “Price is Right”? He won the competition when the series was looking for their first ever male model. He beat out many other young men for the role, and he did it for more than two years.
2. He’s From Massachusetts
He was born and raised in this lovely state. He spent his childhood school years here in an area called Grafton, though he did also live in another town called Uxbridge. He graduated from high school in Grafton, and that’s when the left to live elsewhere.
3. He Left Mass for NYC
Following his high school graduation, he took off for New York. He had it in his mind he would act, model, and do anything that involved doing what he loved. He was able to get his life together in a way that definitely allowed that to happen for him. New York was a win for him.
4. Days is Not His First Soap
When All My Children was canceled and then picked up as an online soap, he was cast to play one of the sons of Opal and Palmer Cortlandt. He was a young, rich, successful man of only 22 who made it big in Silicon Valley. He held on to that role for a while.
5. He’s A Model
Not only does he act, he also models. If you didn’t know that already, it’s all right. He is signed with LA Models, though he did not always work for them. There was a time when he worked with the Ford Modeling Agency. He was one of theirs for many years.
6. He Makes A Lot of Comebacks
Ben is a character that neve really goes away. He’s been Ben more times than we can count after a goodbye. He’s regularly used to facilitate the return of characters he made miserable in his time. That makes it more fun for fans.
7. He Made Some Fun Guest Appearances
He’s been on shows such as “The Middle” and “The Secret Life of the American Teenager,” and others. He always does a great job, and we’re kind of just waiting for him to land a show of his own. He has the face and the talent to do it.
8. He’s A Movie Star
Did you know he’s been in three movies? He has two in the post-production point of filming as of 2018, and he has one he did in 2009. Perhaps you’ve heard of the movie, “Bride Wars,” as it’s the one he was in? It was his first role in Hollywood.
9. He’s Starred with Some Famous Faces
One of his most recent movies is called Relic, and it’s with William Shatner. Talk about starring with some famous faces. Shatner is one of the most iconic men in Hollywood. It must be such an honor to get to work with someone so great at what they do.
10. He’s Back for Good…So Far
So far, we believe that Ben is back in Salem for the long haul. He hasn’t been announced as a temporary return, so that’s a good sign for those who love his character. He might be back for good right now, but there is always a chance he will even show up as a good person. It’s been said he has changed, and we think that his role with Ciara might facilitate that. She’s good for him with her own bad-girl attitude, and that might work out for everyone.
