Whenever people refer to Patrick Stewart they seem to forget the “Sir” part. Not that it’s always customary to use it but I think people don’t realize that Stewart was knighted by the Queen back in 2010. During the ceremony the then 69-Year-Old actor had one person to thank. He said he owed “literally everything” to the English teacher who first encouraged him to perform. “Although many people in my life have had great influence on me, without this man none of it would have happened,” he said following the investiture.
