Things have been very rocky on the Caitlyn Jenner and her relationship with her kids front. Earlier this week it was revealed she hasn’t spoken to Khloe Kardashian in nearly a year and more recently than that it’s been revealed that Jenner hasn’t spoken to Kim Kardashian in quite some time either. It seems that much of the reason for the silence is how Caitlyn Jenner has treated Kris Jenner. Not so much the present treatment but overall what this did to their mother.
Kim had told Ellen DeGeneres that she will “always love” Caitlyn, saying, “that was my stepdad for so many years. She taught me about character and so much growing up.” But she also said, “I just feel like I don’t respect the character that she’s showing now…I just feel like there’s no need for a book. Tell your story, but just don’t bash other people.” My heart breaks for my mom, because I feel like she’s been through so much,” Kim said. “I just feel like it’s unfair; things aren’t truthful.”
OK, now it’s my turn to give all of you the real reason that the Kardashian and Jenner daughters will eventually completely vanish from Caitlyn’s personal life. They’re freaked out. They’ve always been freaked out. They’ll always BE freaked out. They’re father for their entire lives up and turns into a woman. This is not something you just handle let alone go on television to say “everything’s alright” with. This is years of therapy and intense emotional trauma. There’s nothing wrong with what Jenner did and I applaud her for coming out as her true self (assuming that’s what she did) but to expect your kids to just act like nothing’s wrong and in public no less? No chance.
The side of TV we didn’t see is very simple. The girls are 100% freaked out that their father is now a woman, period.
