It might seem a bit ironic that Paris Hilton is now dressing like Kim Kardashian. After all Kim used to be Paris’ personal assistant, right? Or did Paris just think that? According to the varied reports, and they are kind of fuzzy on some details, Paris did take Kim on as as a personal assistant, you know, before Kim finally became famous in her own right. Now though it seems that Paris is attempting to find a bit of popularity through dressing up like her BFF/personal assistant while trying out Kanye West’s, Kim’s husband, clothing line. That all sounds like a big batch of ridiculous that some people might call a coincidence or even an homage to Kim since, you know, she and Paris are apparently still friends, for this week, or month, or however long until the media spins something that makes people think otherwise.
My own personal belief is this: let them do what they want. Whether it’s idolizing, seeing how it feels to dress like someone else, or just something completely different going on in Paris’ mind, let it be. The people that go on social media for this kind of thing tend to be divided so plainly that the comments fly left and right concerning everything from the level of fame these women have to what they do on their average day and so on and so forth. For those who love to hate on them publicly and without restraint there’s one thing to say: stop it. You don’t have to watch their shows, you don’t have to pay any attention to them as they go about their average day and do whatever it is that comes natural to them. It’s a guarantee that they’re not worrying that much about their haters and are going to ignore you without even thinking twice about it.
For those that are obsessed with everything the Kardashians and Paris Hilton do, well, that’s your prerogative. I honestly would rather listen to the world’s most boring insurance seminar than have to look at or watch anything that’s been produced by these folks even on a good day. I’m not a fan and I’ll admit it, the Kardashian’s and Paris Hilton are, to me, a bunch of people that don’t have a lot of bearing on the world I live in and the social circles I’m used to. They’ve got their own thing and like a lot of folks I’m content to just pass on whatever drama happens to come from their direction. It’s kind of odd that Paris would decide to dress up like Kim, but not so mind-blowing that it’d be front-page news unless there was absolutely nothing else going on. Honestly I think even in the Entertainment section there’s plenty of other stuff happening that this would be a side note on even the slowest day. They do strange things that make no sense to some of us, but obviously they make sense to them, but somehow that makes headline news. Ah well, it’s kind of ironic, don’t you think?
