I’m not sure how much more hype Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 can get but I think we’re about to find out. Considering there are still two months to go until the movie is released, I think we’ve only just begun. The “final” trailer for the movie has just been released and like many images and clips before it displays a nice combination of action and humor. But if I were to say one or the other I would definitely consider this movie to be a comedy. I mean yeah, action/comedy would be a better description but come on. This trailer is 100% intended to make you laugh.
I also have two words: Baby Groot. If there was one mistake about the first movie it’s that Baby Groot wasn’t featured enough and the studios made a mistake in under marketing the character. I’m going on record right now in saying the complete opposite might happen this time around. I’m just saying, that’s all. There’s already a stand alone comic in the works and toys are coming out in the spring. I guess we’ll see.
In the meantime, here’s the new trailer but I can only imagine how many leaks and additional footage we’re going to see in the next two months. We’ll be here to cover it all.
