Plot summary
Lucy (Snow), a civil engineering student goes to visit her grandmother who lives in Brooklyn. The grandmother lives in Brooklyn’s Bushwick area and when Lucy arrives in Bushwick, she is astonished to find that the place has been attacked by strange soldiers who seem to be on a killing spree. Lucy also comes across other people who are trying to make sense of what is going on and among the strangers is a dude named Stupe (Bautista) who seems capable of holding his own despite the mess. Stupe is well equipped with weapons and supplies and thus Lucy finds him quite resourceful under the circumstances. The two then embark on a journey to discover what is going on and also to try and locate Lucy’s grandmother.
One of the most interesting revelations is the discovery by Lucy and Stupe regarding the nature of the attack. They find out that the attackers are actually from Texas and they are trying to seize Brooklyn as part of a larger secessionist initiative involving Texas and other Southern States.
